K-Pop boy band Got7's leader, Jay B, is embarking on a fresh journey with Mauve Company. The K-Pop idol has inked a new contract with the company and is setting his sights on a solo career.

• On October 6, Mauve Company announced on their official Twitter account that they had entered into an exclusive contract with Jay B.

• Mauve Company is a South Korean label that currently represents two artists: Junny and Jay B.

• The company also unveiled profile photos of Jay B as part of their announcement, extending a warm welcome to the idol and urging fans to support him in his new endeavours.

Who is Jay B of Got7?

• Born on January 6, 1994, Lim Jae-beom, also known as Jay B or JB, is a renowned South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor.

• He served as the leader of the South Korean boy band Got7.

• Jay B is a multifaceted talent, excelling as a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, model, and actor.

• He is also one half of the boy band duo known as JJ Project, alongside another Got7 member, Jinyoung.

• Additionally, Jay B made his television debut in 2012 in the drama series "Dream High 2."

• Currently, he is fulfilling his mandatory military service as a public service worker and is scheduled for an official discharge in November 2024.

Jay B debuted as the leader of Got7 in 2014, and since 2020, the members have been pursuing their solo careers.

With his new contract under the Mauve label, fans are eagerly anticipating Jay B's upcoming work.
