Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe welcomes first child with girlfriend Erin Darke

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has become a father as he welcomed his first child with his longtime girlfriend American actress Erin Darke.

• The English actor's representative confirmed the news to multiple outlets on Monday, April 25.
• On April 25, The Daily Mail published photos of the English actor pushing a stroller in New York city. Radcliffe was dressed casually, wearing a pair of jeans, t-shirt, face mask and a cap.

• Daniel Radcliffe, 33 and Eric Darke, 38, first confirmed with Entertainment Tonight this March that the duo were expecting their first bundle of joy. 
• The name, gender, or birth date of the baby have not been disclosed.

• The new parents have been together for a decade now.
• The two have been very hush hush about their relationship and private lives. 
• October 2013: Radcliffe confirmed his relationship with Erin Darke.
• June 2014: The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2014 Tony Awards.
• In 2020: Radcliffe spoke to PEOPLE about how he met his girlfriend on the movie set, and he said it will be a "hell of a story to tell our kids one day." He went on to say, "Because of what our characters do with each other," referencing their love scene. "Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting."

Daniel Radcliffe isn't the only Harry Potter alumni who is embracing fatherhood. Rupert Grint, who played the character of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, has a two-year-old daughter with English actress Georgia Groome.
