Supermodel and American socialite Kendall Jenner, 27, recently talked about her desire to establish her own identity and separate herself from the Kardashian family. As the founder of 818 Tequila, she aspires to make a name for herself in the fashion industry and as an entrepreneur.
During her conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Jenner expressed her feelings about being born into the spotlight and her journey towards embracing her role in a renowned family.
The 27-year-old reality star revealed, "Since I was really young, I felt out of place in my family. I was born into this life, but I didn't choose this life." Despite this sentiment, she has learned to cope with the challenges of fame, gradually adapting to the pressures of the industry while remaining grateful for the opportunities her platform provides.
Carving her own path
Growing up amidst the fame and constant public attention surrounding her Kardashian siblings, Kendall Jenner observed how some of her sisters naturally handled the spotlight and interactions with the paparazzi. However, she has charted her own course in the modeling and business realms, aiming to establish a unique identity slightly distanced from her family name.
At the start of her modeling career, Jenner made the decision to drop her surname, hoping it would facilitate her being taken more seriously in the fashion world. While she maintains a close connection to the Kardashian family, she also recognizes her affiliation with the Jenner side, attributing her athleticism to her father's lineage.
Having kids and her relationship with Bad Bunny
In the interview, Jenner shared her feeling about the prospect of having kids of her own, and said, "I'm excited for that time in my life. I just know it's not right now." She is excited to have kids someday, but right now she's not ready to embrace motherhood and is in no rush to start a family. And when asked about if she'd want to stay in Los Angeles and raise her kids, Jenner responded saying she'd want to leave the city once she is pregnant.
Kendall Jenner and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, 29, have kept their romance very private. When asked about her relationship with Bad Bunny, she said "no comment."
The couple have been spotted together at several occasions. On June 20, Tuesday, the rumored to be dating couple were seen together leaving the restaurant Sushi Park, in West Hollywood California.
The duo were seen going for the Met Gala After Party together in May.
They also made a cozy appearance at the Coachella in Indio California in April. During Bad Bunny's performance at Coachella, the supermodel was seen supporting and cheering for him.
