Leland Tyler Wayne, or more popularly, Metro Boomin, has made history in the music industry after becoming the first non-rapping hip-hop producer to amass over 60 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Among his most recent notable accomplishments has been the release of his latest albums, Heroes & Villains and the soundtrack album for the Sony's summer blockbuster Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. 

Both projects have been highly successful in terms of sales and streaming numbers, showcasing his undeniable talent and appeal.

As Metro Boomin's second studio effort, Heroes & Villains took the music world by storm upon its release on December 2. The album debuted at number one on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, accumulating approximately 185,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Surpassing renowned artists such as 21 Savage, Kendrick Lamar, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, and Future, Metro Boomin's popularity is a testament to his unique production style and his ability to captivate audiences of all ages.

His latest album collaboration with Young Thug, titled Business Is Business dropped this weekend, marking yet another album production this year.
