Christian Bale as Gorr in Thor Love and Thunder is better than even Thanos. Twitter is saying so (we’re not)

The fourth installment of Marvel’s Thor series, Thor: Love and Thunder released on July 7 and has fans raving about Christian Bale’s role as Gorr, the villain of the movie.

While many are divided over their feelings about the movie, fans across the world have been praising Bale’s acting and his portrayal of Gorr, the God Butcher.

While Bale’s character does not have as much screen time as other characters in the movie, he managed to cast a solid impression on longtime Marvel fans.

Many have been praising his facial expressions, and and one user even called Bale’s role better than that of Thanos, one of the most gruesome and feared villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some fans have also criticised Bale’s very short screen time in the movie.

Thor: Love and Thunder also stars Chris Hemsworth as Avenger Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie and Russell Crowe as Zeus.

Bale’s Gorr made an appearance in Thor: God of Thunder Issue #2. Gorr is described as having yellow eyes, white skin and black markings on his body due to bonding with the All-Black in comic books.
