
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) hall of famer Kurt Angle has confirmed that he won’t ever wrestle again following a double knee replacement surgery. In a podcast on The Two Man Power Trip Podcast, 53-year-old Angle said that he won’t be able to wrestle again.
“Not with knee replacements. No, I’m not gonna mess these knees up. I’m not gonna try. I’m just trying to have a better quality of life. I’m not trying to get back in the ring. I just want to feel better about my body,” Kurt Angle said.

But still, as wrestlers in the past have returned from retirements, Angle’s fans though that the wrestler might someday make a comeback to the ring.
OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALLIST AND GREAT WRESTLER
Angle was a professional wrestler and Olympic gold medallist in freestyle wrestling in Atlanta Olympics in 1996. He made his debut in WWF in 1999 and then a TV in-ring debut in 2000. He went on to win the WWF championship within one year of his debut. Watch his debut match:
Within a year, he went on to win the WWF championship. Even John Cena, who is said to be most popular wrestler of WWE, once said that their won’t be another Kurt Angle. “He is without a question the most-gifted all-round performer we have ever had in a wrestling ring. There will never be another like him.”
Angle left WWE in 2006 and joined Total Non-Stop Action (TNA now Impact Wrestling). He returned to WWE as hall of famer in 2017. The next night, he was made the WWE Raw General Manager. Angle got a thunderous response from the audience.
Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Post that, he made his in-ring return also with the Shield at TLC but that was for one night. He remained in WWE, but since he wasn’t in best shape, he stayed away from the ring. For his fans, he had his farewell match in 2019 against Baron Corbin.

Angle had great rivalries with The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H and his most famous one with Brock Lesnar. He played Heel as well as Babyface character and was loved by fans in both the characters.
