Marvel released the official trailer of the long-awaited Thor: Love and Thunder on May 24. Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie is the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor series.

CAST: Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth as Avenger Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie, Russell Crowe as Zeus and Christian Bale as Gorr.
STORYLINE: The film will be focusing on Avenger Thor’s journey to self-discovery, but will be interrupted by Bale’s Gorr who is known to be the Butcher of Gods. The trailer also indicates that Avenger Thor, Mighty Thor, King Valkyrie and Waititi’s Korg will be visiting Mount Olympus.
While it is known that whenever Jane uses her Mighty Thor powers, her breast cancer worsens; according to the comic books; it is not yet known if the movie will be focusing on this aspect.
Other than Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, Mighty Thor will be the first female superhero to be a part of the core Avengers group. She will also be the first woman to have the power of a Norse god.
Another new character in the movie is Gorr. The character made an appearance in Thor: God of Thunder Issue #2. Gorr is described as having yellow eyes, white skin and black markings on his body due to bonding with the All-Black in comics.
The trailer also indicates that this is the first time in eight years that Thor and Jane are meeting. As per the MCU, the pair last appeared together in Thor: The Dark World.
With the release of the official trailer, fans are hyped to see the movie, due to release on July 8 in India.
