In today's round-up of Twitter fights, fans of cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Shah Rukh Khan are at loggerheads over who is more iconic. The fact that both Indian men are involved in entirely different professions doesn't seem to matter for the fans who are going through any and all limits to prove that their chosen idol is bigger.
Reality of Chokli, Salman & Akshay pans who are doing everything to defeat their father Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter poll😂

IPL season has started and SRK fans (who would naturally stand with the Khan-owned team Kolkata Knight Riders) were quick to mock the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore's performance.
Kohli fans struck back with a "measuring contest" comparing "King Kohli's" Instagram follower count with that of "King Khan". Kohli boasts 242 million followers on Instagram, easily overshadowing Khan's Instagram family of 36.9 million followers.
Some really absurd comparisons are being made in support of Kohli. For instance, a tweet in support of Kohli highlighted that Kohli's name pops up when anyone googles World's Best Cricketer. But when one searches for World's Best Actor, names of Hollywood stars like Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, and Denzel Washington appear.
Best Actor Best Cricketer.

Then, for some reason, another tweet highlighted the fact that Kohli would be no less of a Tom Cruise if he pursues acting as compared to Khan who would only fail if he turned to cricket.

Another WTF-inducing tweet mentioned that Kohli has been awarded the Best Cricketer of the Decade award by ICC but Khan has not won an Oscar. *facepalm*

Khan's fans are no less, who are just uploading iconic scenes from his films like Swades and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, adding that just a single scene is worth more than Kohli's entire career.

The hashtags are also getting wilder. The hashtags "KOHLI KA BAAP" and "SRKIANS KA MOOT KOHLI" have started trending. Yes, these are actual hashtags trending globally. My editor has checked this copy. This is not a joke!
Both Tags of SRKians are trending in India >>

Kohli was once seen as a hot-blooded youngster when he joined the Men in Blue but ever since he began captaining India, his anger issues have significantly reduced. Similarly, SRK tries his best to stray away from controversies; a far cry from the Wankhede Stadium slapgate.
So, if this feud continues, it is highly likely that the two would personally urge their fans on social media to call a truce.
They are doing it better than me!! Will have to learn it from Virat And Jadeja!!! https://t.co/q1aCmZByDu

Only this February, Kohli along with Ravindra Jadeja was grooving to the Pathaan song Jhoome Jo Pathaan on the field. SRK himself was appreciative of the gesture and admired their dance moves.
As for us, we will go back to seeing how much wilder this Twitter fight can get.
