Bajra keeps the heart healthy as it is rich in magnesium and potassium. Further, it allows the blood to flow more easily and reduces blood pressure. Ajwain is good for the digestive system and helps in boosting immunity. It controls blood sugar and also fights microbial infections. Jaggery improves digestion and helps with the detox process.

With no further ado, here is the recipe:

What you’ll need:

1/2 cup bajra flour

4 cups water

1 tsp of ghee

1/4 cup jaggery powder

Grated ginger

1/2 tsp ajwain

How to:

Put ghee in a pan and let it heat. Add grated ginger, ajwain and bajra flour. Keep stirring the mixture until it turns into nice brown colour. Don't leave the pan unattended even for a bit as the bajra flour burns quickly. Add water and jaggery powder. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes and serve it hot.
