In the midst of what many are calling "the curvy revolution", plus-size magazine SLiNK has launched a surprisingly popular competition. The model search will offer one lucky aspiring curvy model a lucrative contract with an international model management firm.

Big butts and hourglass curves are undeniably en vogue - and are, literally, in Vogue - but plus size models still comprise a tiny minority of catwalk and commercial models. Bras are more marketable when they're advertised by plus size models these days, a recent study suggests.

But does all this new interest in plus size models indicate a move towards a healthier body image in general?
