Elon Musk's daughter cuts ties with her father

World's richest man Elon Musk and his relationship with his daughter is in the news for not so good reasons. His daughter, who is a transgender, has filed court documents to change her name in accordance with her new gender identity.
'I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,' she said.

Xavier Alexander Musk, who recently turned 18, has requested to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson. The last name has been adopted from her mother's former name. Justine Wilson, Vivian's mother got married to Musk in 2000 and got divorced in 2008.
According to a Reuters report, she has requested for a change in name and a new birth certificate. She has also asked to change her gender identity from male to female.
The petition has been filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica.
Back in July 2020, Musk had tweeted: “Pronouns suck.” His ex-wife commented on the same saying: “I cannot support hate.” This comment was later deleted.

In another tweet, Musk also spoke in favour of the LGBTQIA+ community. “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare,” he wrote.
