IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee have been placed at 264 and 369 ranks respectively.

The QS World University Rankings are based on several parameters such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, international student ratio, employment outcome and international research network.
