
A video of four Indian-American women being racially abused is going viral on social media. A Mexican-American woman can be seen passing racist comments and assaulting a woman of Indian origin.

What happened: A Mexican-American woman in the US state of Texas started passing racist comments on four Indian-American women. The video was shot by one of the victims which later went viral on social media.
Esmeralda Upton, identified by the police, declared herself as a Mexican in the video.
She has passed comments like: “Go back to India,” “Everywhere I f***ing go you f***ing Indians are everywhere, if life was so great in India, why the f**k are y'all here?” “You Indians are ruining America, I hate you Indians,” “all these Indians come to America because they want a better life.”
One of the American-Indians then called the police.
In the five-and-a-half-minute-long video, the woman can also be seen striking one of the victims in the face and snatching their phones.

Towards the end of the video, the police arrived at the scene.
The person who posted this video wrote: “This incident occurred in Dallas, Texas, after my mom and her three friends went to dinner”.
The video was first shared on Facebook late on Wednesday night and went viral on Reddit on Thursday.
Where: The incident took place on Wednesday night, August 24, in the parking lot of the Sixty Vines restaurant, 3700 block of Dallas Parkway, Texas.
What happened next: The Plano Police department, Dallas, Texas, posted an official statement on social media about Esmeralda’s arrest.
In the statement, the police mentioned that “she has been charged with assault, bodily injury and terroristic threats and is being held on a total bond amount of USD 10,000.”
