The Supreme Court on Friday advanced a floor test in the Karnataka Assembly on Saturday, which was scheduled to be held in two weeks, in a body blow to the BJP's hopes of proving it commands majority support.
After bench of the top court ruled that the floor test should be held May 19 evening by 4pm, BJP leaders remained confident that CM BS Yeddyurappa could pull off - based on current numbers - the impossible.
