Travel tales often come with unexpected twists and bizarre surprises. But sometimes, there are incidents that are both hilariously traumatising.
In a similar context, two of the most weird things happened recently.
Yes, this is exactly what happened on an EasyJet flight.
An easyJet flight, all set to zoom from sunny Tenerife to London Gatwick, got stuck on the tarmac for hours, thanks to a very unscheduled bathroom break.
As the tale goes, the pilot made an announcement to the folks on board and the flight crew. In a video that's now making the rounds, you can see him saying, "Someone found it rather exciting to defecate in the front toilet so we're now staying the night here. We're now going to get everyone off and organise hotels, then we'll fly back tomorrow morning."
Real good of @easyJet to delay the flight 3.5 hours with 0 communication then decide to cancel it altogether because someone took a shit on the toilet floor🤯 quite literally couldn’t make this shit up🥲 #easyjet pic.twitter.com/E9lpCA4rew

So, there you have it, a plane delay that started with a surprising bathroom blunder and turned into a bit of an aviation adventure.
The Sunday evening flight from Tenerife had already been delayed, and this unusual episode just added a few more twists and turns to the whole story.
Japan Airlines (JAL) faced a unique challenge when they had to add an extra flight due to an unusual reason - sumo wrestlers.
These hefty athletes, with an average weight of around 256 pounds (120 kilograms) each, were on their way to a sports festival on Amami Island from Tokyo and Osaka.
JAL became concerned that their Boeing 737-800 planes, typically carrying 165 passengers, might not have enough fuel capacity to manage the combined weight of the sumo wrestlers on both flights.
To address this, JAL arranged a last-minute special flight and asked 14 passengers to switch to it, even if they had to travel from Osaka to Tokyo first.
Due to the large number of sumo wrestlers on board, the Japan Airlines plane could not take off.

😮The average weight of one sumo wrestler is 120 kg, while the airline predicts that their passenger weighs only 70 kg on average.

This was like what just happened moment.
So, while traveling can be an exciting adventure, it's these odd and amusing incidents that often take center stage, leaving you in disbelief.
