Instagram Notes is here, and people are Sharing Their Thoughts on Internet

Notes on Instagram will help you share your thoughts within 60 characters

Did you wake up to the 'Notes' feature on Instagram? Yes, the new feature that was being tested earlier is now live on the app. And everyone is trying and testing it right now.

What is Notes? Notes lets you share your thoughts on the top of the DM section of your followers.

  • So, basically, you can write your ‘thought of the day’ within 60 characters in the notes section.
  • Your followers would be able to see the same in their DM section on the top.
  • Just like stories, a note lasts for 24 hours.
  • But you cannot vent non-stop in the Notes section because you can share only one note at a time.
  • If you share the second one, the first will be automatically deleted.
  • Your followers can reply to these notes, which will appear as a DM (exactly like replies on stories).

How to use Notes? First, update your Instagram app if not done.

On the updated app, when you open the Instagram DM, you will see the Notes option on top.

1. Tap on ‘your note’ and start typing.

2. Write your thoughts within 60 characters.

3. You will see two sharing options:

  • Share with followers you follow back
  • Share with close friends

4. Choose accordingly, and you are done.

How are people reacting? Notes is like that one song that you hate at first sight but then you listen to it again and maybe, just maybe, you become addicted to it in no time.

At first, users were like "what is this Notes feature?", "This Notes feature is so weird"...

But, in a while, users began enjoying using the features because the Notes section is already flooded, within a few hours.

It is helping users say anything; just like those random tweets that you delete later.

And yes, Instagram should be appreciated here for all the efforts:

Have you tried Notes on Instagram? Share your thoughts there first, and then in our comments maybe.
