Here are 5 things rich people do differently

Wealth impacts the way you think, feel, and even your behavior towards others. It changes your habits and your life, which in turn impacts your wealth. But what do rich folks do differently than others?

They neither wait for permission to succeed nor do they value money over time. In fact, it's the opposite. Also, they are quite financially enlightened and are okay with outsourcing their tasks to others, so that they can do them better

1. THE WEALTHY FOLKS TAKE THE LEAD WITHOUT ASKING FOR PERMISSION (OR EVEN WAITING)

The rich often take the lead and go in on something new since they have a desire and vision to lead, the willpower and courage to follow it, and the money and team, to help them achieve it. The wealthy don't really believe in staying in the victim mentality or doing nothing about their problems. They would rather lead and create solutions than stay in the pain of nothing changing.

Remember when business tycoon Mukesh Ambani narrated the story behind the real reason why he created a 4G telecom business in India? His daughter Isha once complained to him about how the 'internet sucked' while doing her university assignment. Ambani realized that she might not be the only person having this problem and in the following years, proceeded to build a profitable business out of the problem while giving great 4G connectivity to Indians.

Even today, businessmen like Adani and Ambani are leading the development in the drone and renewable energy sectors. They obviously take government approvals, but they aren't really waiting for permission to lead the drone industry. Elon Musk doesn't need permission to buy Twitter. They just simply lead.

2. OUTSOURCE IT ALL!

The wealthy believe in receiving support and thus hire a lot of counselors and support staff - doctors, accountants, drivers, chefs, lawyers, wealth managers, private assistants, and so on.

If you have seen the latest episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner asks her daughter Kendall, who is just 26, to freeze her eggs. What starts as a normal conversation evolves into a quick video consultation call with a doctor where the doctor encourages Kendall to do it. (This seems to be the trend with the Kardashians since most of the sisters have frozen their eggs and this just seems like another important family ritual.) No appointment, no fees, nothing. Just a call away.

The wealthy folks pay people to think about important things on their behalf which saves their precious time. So they outsource it to the best, even if it's available for free on the internet.

3. AN EVER-GROWING VALUE FOR THEIR TIME & INVOLVEMENT

The wise and wealthy know that time is precious and since no amount of money can buy more lifespan, every hour is valuable. So, as opposed to employees who exchange their time for money, most wealthy folks go the opposite way. Meaning that they buy others' time and pay them with money, thus multiplying their own time. Also, if you have noticed any coaching program tiers created by top-notch business coaches or life coaches, they usually create their business programs in a way where the more the proximity with their clients, the more invested they are and the higher-priced session it will be.

  • Free masterclass for 2000 people for 30 minutes (Limited proximity)
  • Group coaching calls for say $500/ month where 20 people can meet online every week for 45 minutes (Limited but regular proximity)
  • Personal 1:1 coaching for $1500/ month where the coach will solve the person's problems by one-on-one interaction. (Limitless proximity)

4. FINANCIALLY ENLIGHTENED

You can only work well and improve on something if you are aware of it. Financial awareness can start with simply understanding terms, being curious, and looking at things from a different perspective. The wealthy are often financially aware and often see money very differently which leads to different kinds of conversations about money. This is because they see and use money very differently and have different perspectives on salaries, home prices, investment and asset values, investment strategies, taxes, etc. For eg: Victoria Washington, a Luxury Business coach, uses the Bible and God's teachings while embodying wealth.

5. JETTING OFF TO RECHARGE

Remember how Louis Litt in Suits loves mudbaths and playing tennis? Have you seen how the rich are always jetting off with their friends and family to recharge and keep themselves in a good vibe?

The rich prioritize self-care and maintain the discipline to recharge themselves. They know that only when they take care of themselves will they be able to keep running the other businesses.

What other things have you seen the rich doing?
