In this service, you can order select items like:
1. Baked Rosogollas from Kolkata,
2. Biryani from Hyderabad,
3. Mysore Pak from Bengaluru,
4. Kebabs from Lucknow, and
5. Butter chicken from Old Delhi
Yumm. So how is it faring? The mere thought of chilling with your family and friends at your home in Delhi, while hogging down Hyderabadi Biryani and ending your meal with Baked Rosogollas from Kolkatta sounds like a pleasant dream. But then your second thoughts come in:
To answer these questions, here are some reviews that people shared on Twitter:
1. First, there are some who want to use this service but can't. Becoz they cannot find the Intercity option on the app. Just like me.

Looks like enjoying original Tundey Kebabs from Lucknow makes you forget all your worries.
Not sure about the unit economics..

Not sure about negative coverage on SM re getting only salan vs biryani ..

3. Then there are those who are complaining. And unfortunately, the bad ones are really bad. Total mood off.
While one customer was delivered non-vegetarian food instead of their vegetarian order
Being vegetarian I ordered Panneer Tikka on this 8th sept but got non veg food probably chicken. I had raised complaint and asked to take action against restuarant and inform me but i guess nothing done till date . Except money was refunded but no alternate food was provided. pic.twitter.com/fswrGokmjl

another complained of his ''Sada hua khana''
Ordered from @zomato intercity legends and got sada hua Kalakand instead, and that too after hours of delay and follow ups with @zomatocare . Despite repeated promises from their end, they haven't issued my refund since yesterday. What steps should I take now @deepigoyal ? pic.twitter.com/5ZQ3HGhT8w

But what happens when you are a Zomato investor? You still get a small box of Salan instead of Chicken Biryani, just like Twitter user Prateek Kanwal
Ordered chicken biryani from Hotel Shadab using @zomato interstate legend service and all I got was a small box of salan. @deepigoyal this seemed like a great idea but my dinner plans are up in the air now. Now, you owe me a Biryani in Gurgaon! pic.twitter.com/ppVbausds8

But there is a benefit. He was at least redeemed by Team Zomato. (Probably because his Twitter complaint went viral. Also being a Zomato shareholder helps.)
Credit where it’s due! Sushant from customer service and product head of @zomato interstate legends not only tracked my Biryani but also sent me an extra Biryani from @biryanibykilo! Issue has been resolved @deepigoyal! Atleast, as a shareholder I feel good about customer service pic.twitter.com/nZ1O7TvsAJ

But what about the rest of the complainants that did not go viral? How will they be redeemed?
