Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan announce 'Dabangg 3'. But where is Malaika Arora?
Salman Khan bhai and Bhai ka bhai Arbaaz Khan are in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The duo will then go to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar. And no, it wasn’t a little birdie who told us this — this announcement was made by the Khan Brothers themselves.
Sharing a short video on Instagram, Salman, along with Arbaaz, announced that they are starting the shoot for Dabangg 3 today — fans of Chulbul Pandey, your wait is almost over!
Apart from announcing the commencing of the shoot, the video also reveals that Salman and Arbaaz were apparently born in the city of Indore as well. "Back in our birthplace for #Dabangg3 shoot," Salman captioned the video on Instagram. Clearly, bhaijaan wasn’t always the Bandra boy that he is today.
What’s more, their grandfather happened to have been posted at Mandleshwar and Maheshwar, when he was in the police force. Naturally then, it is the perfect place to shoot the third instalment of the cop drama.
Now, we already know that Sonakshi Sinha, who started her career with Dabangg opposite Salman, will be rejoining the original cast — frankly, Dabangg wouldn't have been complete without Sona as Rajjo. But, we're not sure if Malaika Arora will get a cameo as before!
Malaika Arora, as Munni, enthralled the nation and made us dance to her tune in Munni Badnaam Hui in the first instalment of Dabangg. In Dabangg 2, though the statement 'item number' Fevicol Se went to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika was brought back — on popular demand — for Pandeyji Seeti.
This time, however, Malaika's inclusion in the cast looks unlikely. Arbaaz and Malaika went through a very public divorce a couple of years ago — following which, Malaika's rumoured growing closeness to Arjun Kapoor became a matter of contention within the Khan family. In fact, Salman had allegedly forbidden Arjun, once close to the Khan khandaan, from entering their apartment in Bandstand, Bandra.
Recently, reports of Malaika and Arjun apparently zeroing in on a wedding date have also been doing the rounds. And if dating rumours could have led Salman to blacklist Arjun from his home, wedding rumours obviously call for harsher reactions, right?
Although we hope that is not the case. Much like Rajjo, Dabangg would not be the same without Munni! What do you think?
