Children's Day on Twitter: People are tweeting about hilariously bad childhood decisions

The fact that the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister and a very learned man, is the day India celebrates Children’s Day is not at all telling of just how dumb children can really be. And while many have continued making bad decisions and acting upon stupid impulses well into adulthood, the real deal still lies in our collective childhood.

Keeping with the spirit of acknowledging and celebrating all the bad decisions we took as children and cherishing their not-so-good consequences, author and columnist Sidin Vadukut asked everyone on Twitter to narrate their special story.

And boy, oh boy, did everyone have a tale to tell. Every answer is part-cringe worthy and part hilarious.

Of course, not all stories are cute. Some were downright dangerous.

The answers are endless. And reading them makes one wonder how on earth did we all manage to survive all the way to adulthood at all.
