Jonathan Healey, an associate professor in Social History at Oxford University, recently took it upon himself to give voice to portraits of famous military generals, ranging from Antony to Napoleon, Alexander the Great to Churchill. He re-imagined these great commanders, whose exploits gave a new direction to history, performing another noble duty – giving those in need directions to the nearest toilet.
Healey started “Historical generals pointing out the toilets: a short thread”, on Twitter, and soon, more people joined in. Here is a collection of some of the most hilarious posts.
