A never-before-seen image of Elon Musk's residence, the wealthiest individual globally, was unveiled by Walter Isaacson, the American author presently crafting Musk's biography.

The image shared by Isaacson showcases the kitchen and a section of the living room within Musk's 2-bedroom abode.

The American biographer wrote, "In 2020, Musk made the decision to part ways with his five grand residences and establish this Spartan two-bedroom house in Boca Chica, TX, as his primary abode. It's here that we would convene, he would sit at this wooden table, and engage in phone calls."

Why opt for a modest house for the titan of industry?

In 2020, Musk has revealed his intention to divest from most of his possessions, including his housing. He even declared his aspiration to lead a property-free life.

Shortly thereafter, five of his properties were listed for sale on Zillow. By 2021, he had successfully sold his final property for a staggering $30 million, having already transitioned to renting a home in Texas from SpaceX—an arrangement valued at $50,000.
