Rs 1000 crore for Jawan marks back-to-back 1000-cr blockbusters for Box Office King SRK

Shah Rukh Khan's craze around the globe has come in handy for his new film Jawan, as it crosses the Rs 1,000-crore checkpoint in worldwide box office earnings, and Rs 550 crore in domestic earnings.

The SRK and Atlee collaboration Jawan has earned itself a worldwide box office collection beyond the Rs 1,000-crore margin and is still going strong. The movie hit the theatres on September 7, 2023, and has been drawing crowds to the movies ever since. 

• With Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has becomes the only Indian actor to have two films that crossed the Rs 1,000-crore mark in the same year.
• Pathaan hit the screens on January 25 this year and earned over Rs 1,000 crore at the box office around the world.

Jawan is already one of the highest grossing Bollywood films ever, and this worldwide achievement it a cherry on the cake. 

What about the domestic box office?

Apart from the worldwide collection, Jawan has also crossed Rs 550 crore in earnings at the box office domestically and is still going strong. 

Today marks Day 18 of Jawan at the theatres, and the film’s box office collection is one of the biggest ever to be recorded in Bollywood history.
