Bigg Boss 11 blog: What mega surprises are in store for semi-final week?

Bigg Boss has always been a tough test of friendships and loyalties. In the semi-final week, when there are only six housemates left inside the house, Bigg Boss decided to turn all equations upside down with a difficult game, which will also be a ticket to the finale.

A snow-capped mountain was created at the lawn area. There were six bags filled with thermocol balls, bearing names of six contestants each. The housemates had to carry each others’ bags (not the one with his or her name written on it) on their backs. They had to empty those bags at a given time. All this while, they had to pedal on the staircase-shaped mountain.

At the end of each turn, the bags were weighed. The contestant whose name was on the lightest bag lost one point. There were several rounds of the game, and the bags changed hands at every turn.

Yes, the housemates took time to understand the game as the ticket to finale was actually resting on somebody else’s hands.

Everybody at a loss

The first round went in understanding the game as emptying a backpack was not easy while pedalling. After a round, the housemates understood that the role of the person standing behind was significant, as they would help in emptying the bags. Everybody started making a deal with others. Six people got divided into three small teams: Akash-Puneesh, Vikas-Luv, Shilpa-Hina. But like all ties inside the Bigg Boss house, the groups were too fragile to be true.

Is there a celeb bond between Vikas and Hina?

It was amazing to see two people, who have been hating each other so far, promising help during this mind-boggling game. You must wonder how Vikas and Hina buried their hachet. Actually, both of them consider each other deserving to be in the top three. The celeb bond worked fine as they tried to save each other’s bags on Tuesday’s episode. And this new-found understanding might spell doom for Luv-Hina friendship, as Luv has been busy cementing non-celeb bond. "Vikas won't win this task as long as I am carrying his bag," Luv was heard saying to Puneesh and Akash.

Shilpa and Vikas cross swords, again

At one point in time, Vikas was carrying Luv’s bag while Luv was carrying Vikas’s. The game was becoming monotonous and all of them decided to start playing individually. All started to empty the bags they were carrying. But Vikas said he would not empty Luv’s bag as he had given his words to Luv. Shilpa asked Vikas whether he had wanted to save Luv as the latter might get evicted this week. “I believe whoever will get fewer votes will be evicted. If I am the person, I will go. I know you want me to leave the house. You have been telling this to everyone that I will be eliminated in 14th week. Let it be,” Vikas said to Shilpa bringing back the memories of their earlier fights.

Will there be another live voting?

Akash has already lost two points as everybody was angry with him for his earlier act of claiming himself as the winner of the show. Shilpa has also lost a point. There will be two winners of the mountain task. But only one will get the ticket to finale. There might be another live voting this weekend to choose the first finalist.
