'Zero' teaser launch: Twitter users react to new Shah Rukh Khan film
Twitteratis found a reason why Salman Khan would have refused the movie.
Anand L Rai took a break from directing movies after Tanu weds Manu: Returns (2015). He used the break to produce films such as Nil Battey Sannata, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan etc. However, his return as a director in a film, which will portray Shah Rukh Khan as a dwarf, is one of the movies Bollywood is pinning its hope on this year.
For long, the movie has been referred to as "Anand Rai's next", "SRK's next" as the director could not zero in on an appropriate name. Finally on January 1, when the name of the movie was revealed, it gave social media users a reason to laugh out loud.
Almost a year before its release date, #ZeroTheFilm trended on Twitter. Yes, the movie is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018.

The tweets, however, are not all praises for SRK. Much of the trending owed to unkind trolls. Twitter users paralleled the name of the movie to the number of hits delivered by SRK in the recent past.
