Bigg Boss 9: A bhoot bangla with belly dancing, moral lectures and tears

As if the house wasn't full of horrors (conniving friends, lazy teammates, unhygienic housemates) already, Bigg Boss decided to turn the house into a Bhoot Bangla for the luxury budget task.

The day started with the housemates discussing Nora's soft spot for Prince. Rishabh, who considers Prince to be his biggest competitor, looked visibly displeased after hearing this. A little consolation here was Nora's belly dance performance that left the boys enthralled.

The highlight of each week, the luxury budget task is finally here again. This time it does not involve long hours of torture for the contestants but a theme-based task that is fun and weird and well... scary too.

The teams were divided into two. Gizele, Priya, Kishwer, Suyyash and Kanwaljeet were in one group. They were the scary ghosts who had to trouble the other housemates to an extent that would induce a reaction from them. Meanwhile, the other team had to ignore them as much as possible. Thankfully, Keith was the supervisor of the task this time and NOT Priya. Unlike her he remained a silent observer throughout.

We all know, in a task that involves troubling the other team, housemates get down and dirty. Kishwer, who loves to annoy Mandana no end, started following her around and even messing up her hairstyle. After bearing with Kishwer's antics, Mandana decided to push her off. This did not go well with Kishwer or her boyfriend and both cried foul as well as threatening her, Suyyash went to the extent of telling her that he would break her arms if she touched Kishwer again.

Meanwhile, Priya and Gizele had a tiff on the word "dyslexic". Gizele called Keith "dyslexic" when he refused to acknowledge the number of reactions made by the other team. Priya, a schoolteacher educated Gizele by telling her not to use the word as it may be offensive to many. Gizele, who looked like a lecture in moral etiquettes was the last thing she wanted, agreed to disagree and gave Priya a piece of her mind. All the fighting left poor Keith confused and overwhelmed. He silently shed a few tears.

We thought Keith was the strongest of the lot emotionally, but it seems that to stay in the Bigg Boss house you need to develop a thicker skin. Perhaps, Rimi's nonchalance is the only thing that is the key to win the game and still stay sane.
