We tell you who's likely to win Bigg Boss 9

You have got to be living in a far-off land, away from the internet and any possible social contact, if you're not aware of Bigg Boss 9. Yes, you may not be a regular viewer, or atleast deny that in public, but you'd still know that it's currently on air and the nation's heart-throb, or Bhai to put it better is the show host. And if you don't know anything of this, please share your contact details as there'll be many willing souls, looking to escape this reality TV onslaught that includes not just Bigg Boss but the tolerance-intolerance debate, Sheena Bora murder story and Narendra Modi's never-ending trips. Whoever said fact is stranger than fiction certainly lived in India.

Anyway, without digressing further, let's come back to Bigg Boss 9. To cut it short, the show is currently in its seventh week with a total of ten contestants in the house. Seven of these are there from the beginning and three have joined the madness recently. While we're on numbers, that's been the exact problem with Bigg Boss this year. Blame the lacklustre contestants, no major controversies and no big use of expletives, the audience has dismissed the season as boring from the very beginning. No wonder then that both Salman Khan and the channel have been busy trying to boost the ratings - four wild card contestants in a month and a half is sheer desperation no less.

Whether the season gets more interesting, more controversial to put it right, shall be known to one and all soon. Meanwhile the ten contestants inside the house are busy playing the game - which includes ganging up, scheming, plotting and gossiping - to try and stay longer and eventually win the game. As for the audience, everyone has their favourites. But when it comes to eviction, surprises are in order. Those you thought would stay have been duly chucked out. And those who had no chance at survival are still sitting in order. And then there is Rimi Sen, who having done nothing else inside apart from applying make-up is getting votes by the dozen.

Here's our analysis of the contestants this year and their chances of winning. Feel free to surprise us with your votes and evictions, of course.

1. Kishwer Merchant - The Queen B

kish_112515055045.jpg

She's the most powerful one in the house with her own gang of boys - boyfriend Suyyash and "brother" Prince - who are ready to do anything she says, always back her up and not utter a word without her approval. She screams at the top of her voice, takes it upon herself to point any wrong happening around and pretends to never be 'fake' in the house.

Irritability Quotient - 9/10

Chances of Winning - 8/10

2. Suyyash Rai - Lovestruck Lad

He's the poster boy for "ideal boyfriend" advertisements - you'll never find him disagreeing with his girlfriend, saying/doing anything that's against her wishes or ever siding with anyone else in a fight. Also, he's forever calling her "baby" (aww, anyone?) and never has an opinion of his own. If this isn't true love, nothing else is!

Irritability Quotient - 9.5/10

Chances of Winning - 5/10 (No one finds spineless men attractive, do they?)

3. Rishabh Sinha - All talk, No show

He's a classic example of most reality show contestants, those who enter with a lot of aggression, promise and confidence and within days wither out from the scene. No wonder this is Rishabh's second reality show - he's made for all this stuff. Plus, he badly needs a haircut and shouldn't take off his shirt to reveal that not-so-buff physique either.

Irritability Quotient - 6.5/10

Chances of Winning - 6/10

4. Mandana Karimi - Girl of the Moment

The girl from foreign land always gets the votes. And if she happens to be as loud as Mandana is, then even better. Forever in the middle of most fights in the house, she's certainly hated by almost every contestant and her constant falling sick, abuses and mood swings haven't helped either. No wonder then that she's rather popular with the audience and the biggest target for Queen B Kishwer.

Irritability Quotient - 9/10

Chances of Winning - 9.5/10

5. Rochelle Rao - Good-Girl-Gone-Bad

When she first entered the house, she dutifully clung onto her boyfriend Keith's hand as he guided her all along. It's only post his sudden exit that Rochelle's really come into her own. She's figured out her "friends" and foes and she screams her opinion out loud for everyone to hear.

Irritability Quotient - 4.5/10

Chances of Winning - 6/10 (This is Bigg Boss and genuinely fair people rarely win the show!)

6. Prince Narula - Desi Boy

This Punjabi munda is all brawn and no brain. He's also another classic reality show stereotype - those with anger issues and always operating in a group. Dutifully following his "sister" Kishwer's advice, he's forever ready to pick fights, be a "man" and try and scare others around. How typical!

Irritability Quotient - 7/10

Chances of Winning - 7/10

7. Rimi Sen - Secret Agent

Definitely the most popular contestant and arguably the smartest so far, Rimi's made not doing anything as the biggest strategy for Bigg Boss contestants. This girl has vowed to not do anything consequential in the house apart from beautifying herself and cribbing about going back home; she also always manages to get herself nominated every week. But nothing seems to get her out of the house as much as she desperately wants it. Or does she?

Irritability Quotient - 4/10

Chances of Winning - 10/10 (Don't be surprised!)

8. Digangana Suryavanshi - Who's that, again?

One would think that there's something to say about a teenager trying to survive amidst some rather obnoxious grown-ups but sadly, Digangana fails on even that account. She's plain boring, bordering on passing out. And if she doesn't do something drastic soon enough, she'll soon find her way out of the house. Wake up Girl!

Irritability Quotient - 2/10 (Way too boring to even irritate!)

Chances of Winning - 2/10 (And we're being nice over here)

9. Priya Malik - The Talking Tom

After creating waves in the house with her entry in the house, newbie Priya Malik has already got the hang of the politics with the house. Less than 24 hours since her entry, we haven't seen the ex-Bigg Brother contestant silent. She has been talking throughout the day and even beats Kishwer at shouting her lungs out. The Australian has already started dominating. The contestants in her brash way. Not many are happy with her entry in the house, but viewers are thrilled to finally see some action.

Irritability Quotient - 9/10

Chances of Winning - 8/10

10. Kanwaljit Singh - The Glamorous Aunty

He may be the oldest contestant in the house but he is the diva of the house as well. With a flair for outrageous costumes, Kanwaljit is one of the wild card contestants who loves to gossip and lend words of wisdom like a grandma. He is yet to show his true colours in the house but he seems a fun new addition nevertheless.

Irritability Quotient - 6/10

Chances of winning - 3/10
