Swapan Seth on his top five picks of India Art Fair 2018

1. Ayesha Sultana: I think there is such simple sophistication in her work. It is magnificently minimal. By saying very little, it does say a lot.

2. Birender Yadav: Once again, minimal but painstakingly detailed. It does not have the atmosphere that most artists hurl into their work.

3. Parul Gupta: It is such a playful illusion and when you walk past the work, it changes itself. And the shadows it throws up are enthralling.

4. Zarina Hasmi: It is so stark yet solemn. There is a certain quietness in the work. It is meditative and contemplative. Typical of Zarina.

5. Manisha Gera Baswani: I love the starkness to it. Yet some works have rich colours. It is utterly seductive. This is her best work to date.
