Kim Kardashian is legally single and Kanye West is being Kanye West

It is time for Kim Kardashian fans to rejoice as the reality star has just been declared 'legally single'. On March 2, Kim was legally allowed to drop 'West' from her name and return to her maiden name. Her divorce proceedings with Kanye West are underway though.

Earlier, Kim had filed a request with the judge to make her 'single' in her and Kanye's divorce case. She had said that Kanye's repeated Instagram attacks on her and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, had caused her immense emotional distress. (READ MORE HERE: Kim reacts to Kanye West's attacks. An insider told ENews, "Kim is feeling a huge sense of relief now that she has been declared legally single. She is very happy and feels she is one step closer to reclaiming her independence and being able to move on in her life."

Kanye's lawyer has said that the rapper is soley focusing on the ex-couple's children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

On the same day, Kanye released the video of his new song, Eazy, where he was seen burying a replica of Pete alive in a series of graphic depictions using clay animation. In the same song, he also rapped, "God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a**."

In the video, Kanye's clay figurine kidnapped Pete's clay figurine and threw a bag over his head, tied him up and threw him on the back of an all-terrain vehicle. Then we see Pete's figurine being dragged through the sand and being buried alive with his head being the only body part visible.

Kanye's figurine then threw a pack of rose seeds and watched them bloom on Pete's head, which then he chopped and filled in a pick-up truck. This may be a reference to Kanye sending Kim a truckload of roses on Valentine's Day, after breaking up with Julia Fox. (READ MORE HERE: Kanye is Kim Kardashian's Number 1 fan. The video ultimately ends with the message, "EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER / EXCEPT SKETE YOU KNOW WHO / JK HE'S FINE." The song is in Kanye's album, Donda 2, and also features The Game.

Here's the video for you to see:

Some Twitter users are celebrating Kim's new status by tweeting, "kanyewest KimKardashian is no longer married to you, leave her alone. Move on. Congratulations Kim!"

while some are saying, "We never called her Kim Kardashian West anyway."

But some users are worried for Kim, Pete and her children's safety after the release of the music video Eazy. One user tweeted, "Kim I am really worried for u & ur children. After all of the look alike girlfriends & video of pete it looks like u & ur children are in danger. Get restraining orders. You don't want it to turn into one of those if I can't have you, you can't have them situations."

Another user tweeted, "#KimKardashian I think it’s so sad that a woman is dealing with a crazy ex, who is threatening her life and her new boyfriend’s life, but no one is doing anything, because everyone thinks it’s funny. He is showing that he is unstable, and no one is helping her."

Kanye surely is exhibiting dangerous behaviour, but as of today, the world is happy for Kim Kardashian and expect for her to be saying this:

and we agree!
