Five reasons why I can't wait to watch Tamasha

The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer Tamasha was released last evening and curiosity over the former couple's onscreen chemistry has made sure the teaser has already received over a million views. While their crackling chemistry continues to be a big plus for the film, here are a few more reasons the trailer gave us to look forward to the film's November release.

The familiarity of an Imitiaz Ali film

The tag line for the film - "Why always the same story" - might have backfired for Imtiaz Ali, with most viewers asking him exactly that. But we find comfort in the familiarity of an Imtiaz Ali film, all of which have one easily recognisable theme of a journey, both literal as well as a figurative inner journey of the protagonists.

Rahman's music

AR Rahman, who also composed for Highway and Rockstar, has tied up with Ali again. The sneak peek we got from the trailer gave us only a tiny hint of the soundtrack, but we're glad to note that it has Rahman's soulful style written all over it.

Beautiful Corsica

Who knows why Ali chose the French island of Corsica, but with its azure waters and craggy cliffs, it promises to be quite the visual treat and we're not complaining.

Quite the emotional rollercoaster

Despite all the fun and games happening in Corsica (and supposedly staying in Corsica), the story is clearly a far more intense one. Two minutes into the trailer you realise that the film is going to have Ranbir's Rockstar intensity along with Deepika's lightheartedness from Love Aaj Kal.

Ranbir and Deepika's crackling chemistry

Enough and more has been discussed about the duo's relationship status and how good they look as an on-screen couple. Even Ali has marvelled at the comfort-level his lead actors share, and it's great to see how their ease with each other has translated on-screen.
