It is unclear if there was a real altercation between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber, but it is evident that their supporters are engaging in a heated exchange on social media. While some individuals do not care about the situation, others are thoroughly entertained by this fan-fueled spectacle.

ICYMI: Here's a quick recap

Hailey and Kendall were trolled after they posted a TikTok video in which (Selena fans believe) they were taking a dig at Selena Gomez's vacation photos, which she already was body shamed for.
In the video, Kendall, Hailey and Justine Skye (you must have heard her song Collide) were lip-syncing to the lyrics, "I'm not saying she deserved it but I'm saying is god timings is always right."
Then, two months later, the whole thing erupted after Selena posted a now-deleted TikTok video admitting that she laminated her eyebrows "too much".
After this, Kylie posted a photo on her Instagram story showing off her eyebrows with the caption "This was an accident?????"

While this incident was started and fueled by the fandoms of the stars and other bored people, things have accelerated to a whole new level:

Selena's fans started digging out old videos and tweets of Hailey Bieber, where she was either fangirling over Selena or taking shade at her.

Selena Gomez on Friday, March 24, shared on her Instagram story that Hailey Bieber contacted her to express concern about the online hate she has been receiving since the recent drama. Hailey even shared that she is receiving death threats.

Selena took the opportunity to encourage her followers to refrain from bullying and spreading negativity.

Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity.
