• According to The Hollywood Reporter, B-movie legend Charles Band is producing a movie called Barbenheimer which aims to bank on the enormous buzz that the two of this year's major releases - Oppenheimer and Barbie - had created all over social media. 

• When Band revealed the movie's quirky plot, it definitely caught the attention of netizens and created a considerable hype all over social media. 
• The film is currently up for sale at the American Film Market and centres on Dr Bambi J Barbenheimer, a genius scientist doll residing in Dolltopia, a paradise of perpetual summers and beach bashes. 
• Charles Band openly acknowledges that he's capitalising on the Barbie-Oppenheimer rivalry and the social-media buzz.

• Charles Band is a popular B-movie producer known for his five-decade career in crafting low-budget horror comedies.
