In Tiger 3 teaser, Salman Khan goes all guns blazing against India: Jab tak Tiger mara nahi, tab tak Tiger haara nahi

The long-awaited teaser for Tiger 3 has dropped and has got the Indian audience pumped up for one of the most anticipated action thrillers of 2023. The first teaser of Tiger 3, named Tiger Ka Message, gives us a glimpse of Salman Khan as Tiger rolling his sleeves up for a fight against India.

For the past week, all you could see on social media were exciting fan posts, demanding a teaser for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.

Now, it is only reasonable that Salman fans in India will want their “Bhaijaan” back in the box office battle. The teaser of Tiger 3 premiered on YouTube at 11 am today, with the title “Tiger Ka Message”, marking an end to the long-going wait and speculations. 

The teaser gives the best glimpses of the Maneesh Sharma directorial so far and somewhat of a gist of the storyline it will follow.

The teaser ends with a banger of a punchline: "Jab tak Tiger mara nahi... tab tak Tiger haara nahi."

First impressions of the teaser

• The YRF Spy Universe is finally bringing back its canon with Salman’s Tiger and by the looks of it, he is back to the Middle East to fight the 'bad guys” (since that’s where all the bad guys live, it seems).
• But this time around, Tiger is looking for a tussle with India itself, quite like what John Abraham did in Pathaan.
• The teaser shows Tiger recording a voice message where he denies accusations of treason put on him by the Indian government, even after 20 years of selfless service to them. 

• One of the standouts of the teaser was Tiger dropping his actual name ‘Avinash Singh Rathore’ in his message to Indian citizens. 
• Apart from that, the usual loud action sequences with machine guns blowing up military jeeps is what covers most of the last 40 seconds. 

Fans are expecting the same big-scale action sequences and heavy punchlines from Tiger 3 as they did from the previous movies in the franchise. The film stars the OG duo Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, along with the new introduction of Emran Hashmi, who is nowhere to be seen in the teaser. Understandably, the Tiger 3 makers want to take their own sweet time to introduce the characters.

Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, hits the theatres this Diwali, and fans are expecting that this will be a competition to Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan, both of which have crossed Rs 1,000 crore at the box office.

The chances of a cameo from King Khan are high, as both Tiger and Pathaan belong to the same cinematic universe. Also, given that Salman Khan as Tiger had quite an appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, SRK might return the favour in Tiger 3.

The year 2023 has certainly been good for Bollywood so far, with Shah Rukh Khan basically leading the drive with Jawan and Pathaan. And since Tiger is a tried and tested franchise for Salman, there are a lot of hopes pinned on this one.
