What do we know about the Arkham series?

  • Originally intended as a project centered around the Gotham City Police Department, the Arkham series underwent a transformation.
  • It shifted its focus to center on the inmates housed within the notorious mental hospital.
  • Initially, not much was known about the project, leading to the assumption that it would be connected to The Batman, possibly involving Barry Keoghan's Joker and other asylum inmates.
  • However, Gunn confirmed on the Threads platform that Arkham Asylum will be part of the new DCU, coexisting with Superman: Legacy and Creature Commandos.
