As the much-anticipated film "Animal," starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol, gears up for its release, it has undergone scrutiny and received approval from the Indian Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). However, the board recommended several cuts and modifications.

What are the changes?

A widely circulated CBFC report screenshot on social media revealed the suggested modifications for Animal:

  • Replace the word “Black” in the subtitles.
  • Mute the word “Natak” and alter the line “You change your pads four times a month” in the subtitles.
  • Substitute the word “Costume” with “Vastra” in the film.
  • Modify two dialogues - “Kuch nahi” (nothing) and “Kya bol rahe ho aap?” (what are you saying?).Modify an intimate scene involving “Zoya” (Rashmika Mandanna) and “Vijay” (Ranbir Kapoor).
  • "Suitably" modify the cuss words used in the film.
