It's dumb that people think SRK is Priyanka Chopra's ex because they have similar jackets
A piece of gossip and speculation based on that is the corner stone of any rumour mill. And when it comes to rumour mills, social media is the undisputed leader. The latest in “unnecessary” has people speculating - wait for it - whether Priyanka Chopra accidentally admitted that Shah Rukh Khan is her ex-beau.
Why?
Because people have way too much free time.
Priyanka Chopra, who was recently on Dirty Laundry, a television show, to promote her film, Baywatch, spoke about the one item of clothing that has stayed with her through the years. This item of clothing was a brown leather jacket that she had with her in the show.
While showing the jacket, Chopra admitted, “I was little unsure about it, but your show is called Dirty Laundry so I might as well... This is a jacket that I literally live in. It’s my airport jacket but it belonged to an ex-boyfriend.”
When Laura Brown, the host, asked her why and how is this keepsake still with her, Chopra Said, “Things get exchanged. But this one I really, really loved because it kind of became mine. It stopped being his like after it stayed back in my house once and I just kind of wore it.”
Completely harmless, right? One would think so, but nope. People, who are just random fans, of course, somehow jumped to the conclusion that it was in fact, Shah Rukh Khan’s brown leather jacket; the same one he had been photographed in multiple times, apparently. It is totally impossible for two similar looking brown leather jackets like that to exist in this universe.
In fact, has anyone ever seen the two brown leather jackets in the same room? Quod erat demonstrandum.
And true to character, entertainment websites went ahead with this speculation. After all, two similar jackets are enough to prove that Shah Rukh Khan, a man who has been happily married since 1991 (when Priyanka Chopra was like 9-year-old) was the mysterious ex-boyfriend, right?
More in “irrefutable evidence” is a Twitter user who claimed that Priyanka Chopra “liked” and quickly “unliked” her tweet about this godforsaken conspiracy theory. That obviously means that Chopra acknowledged this and in a moment of dilemma “liked” this allegation. It’s obviously not possible for someone to accidentally press a button my mistake on a touch screen phone, thanks to advanced technology. Obviously, entertainment websites reported this development as well.
The plot thickens.

Now that we have this sorted out, we shall discuss how Kangna Ranaut is actually Arundhati Roy from the past (she obviously owns a time machine) because they both are women with curly hair. Which incidentally proves that Ranaut is a Maoist (and explains her erratic behaviour). We shall also discuss why SRK owning a leather jacket is just secularist hypocrisy.
