Once upon a time, being part of a fan group was considered lame. For instance, time and again, many people have termed Swifties 'a cult'; and finding series, shows and artists that are underrated are often considered cool. However, a new study by Instagram has revealed that almost 90 per cent of Indian Gen Z are part of a fandom.
The new survey
- Instagram recently released takeaways from a survey of 5,000 Gen Z respondents across India, Brazil, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
- The trend report is called "The Instagram Trend Talk" and it previews the trends expected to surface on Instagram in 2024.
