Sant Rampal: All babas frauds, all gods false, except my guru and my god

I am glad to see the outpouring of outrage over that anal-retentive Baba Rampal’s rank rowdyism on display in Hisar. Six of his followers are dead and the ass is still holed up somewhere if not in his Satlok Ashram in Barwala. A majority of Indians see this as a self-declared saint’s refusal to obey the Indian judiciary and want the administration to crush this defiance. Cap the con, now. Mr Khattar, drop the kid gloves and go medieval on this self-declared Kabir.

We know these babas are frauds of the first order who exploit the poor’s need for spiritual guidance and extort money from followers to build their empires, called deras. We know they promote superstitions and falsehoods and project themselves as "Godmen", if not God. All of them are conmen to begin with. All of them except your guruji, the epitome of spirituality and divine knowledge. The man who has supernatural powers. God in man’s clothing.

Both your babaji and your god are the right guru and the right god worthy of worship. You know they are different. You have a connection with your guru and he has a connection with the One. Together, they have removed so many obstacles from your way. Just think back and you’ll realise they have not only saved your life but guided your entire family. In exchange of what? Nothing at all. Your personal obeisance and, sometimes, small contributions or chadhavas. That’s all it took for Guruji to bless you. In fact, he blessed you before you made any contribution.

The same with your god. He has visited you in your dreams, just like your guruji. You made a family trip to the ashram after that and you saw the glow on his forehead for the first time. There was a special glint in his eyes. The eternal light, you thought. And it’s true, the only true light. You have his photo in the puja room, next to the gods. You are what you are today because of his kripa. You would have failed miserably if babaji’s kripa wasn’t with you.

And god does everything for a reason. He got your family a guide. Of course, you suffered setbacks but you passed the divine test. Bad things happen to every one of us. But these are tests. Good things are his blessings. Because you are a useless, talentless, resourceless little rat who would not take responsibility for his actions. Whatever happens somebody else does. I mean God through guruji. Prabhuji tum chandan ham paani.

And look at the other people who don’t follow the same babaji. They have wrong people directing them towards the wrong god. The result is they will go to hell and you and fellow followers of your babaji will go to heaven. You being a good guy love your friends, business associates and acquaintances. You don’t want to miss them in heaven so you have tried to convince them about the greatness of the right baba. But to each his own. They will rot in hell because they have been following the wrong baba, the wrong rituals, the wrong path that leads to the wrong god. In fact their god is not even god. Stupid fools.

There is one spanner in this great wheel of divinity. This is how followers of other babas think about you though. This is how believers of other faiths think about your faith.
