Baahubali 2, on Twitter, lives up to 'Rajinikanth of all blockbusters' fame

Has it really been two years since the Baahubali blitzkrieg descended and redefined how fantasy films will be made for Indians?

In 2015, the world of Mahishmati opened to unbelievable frenzy in theatres across the country and set impossible records for all future epic dramas.

So it was obvious that the sequel, which audiences have waited for, for two years now, would shatter predictions — and then some.

Every still and trailer was dissected in detail by fans and critics, to find hints to the puzzle leading up to the climax of Baahubali: why did royal slave Katappa kill Baahubali?

Two years since its worldwide release, Baahubali is best described as the Rajinikanth of all blockbusters made in India. So, the expectations are unreasonable, sky-high and the hype around Baahubali: The Conclusion beyond human imagination.

So no hint of a spoiler was spared — and fans on Twitter don't know how to deal with the emotional, warrior saga that Baahubali: The Conclusion turned out to be.

Was it worth the exaggeration? The memes, and even the 4am screenings? Fans just can't handle it

Rajamouli and his gladiators have lived up to the dream, and maybe not.

Such is the wait for the blockbuster that the audience doesn't care which reel of Baahubali they are watching!

And the climax? Hint: War is not the end of Baahubali.

Go Figure.
