Bigg Boss 11 blog: Why Twitter users can't accept Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani are semi-finalists

Why the timings of the other housemates were not revealed?

It is that time of the Bigg Boss 11 when all calculations go haywire and there can be no explanation of what is happening.

After a light-hearted Sunday episode, it was time to decide whose name would be pushed for the weekly nomination on Monday. Bigg Boss handed the inmates a task that required concentration and patience, but the results threw up some questions which remain unanswered.

Luv Tyagi and Priyank Sharma are nominated

There was a glass dome at the lawn area. It was literally a test of time as the housemates had to spend 42 minutes inside the dome. And guess what? There was no clock or timer. The housemates could either guess or count sitting inside the dome, while the others were asked to distract them. Vikas, being immune to this week’s nomination, did not have to play the game. As the captain, Hina too, was saved. Puneesh, Akash, Luv, Priyank and Shilpa played the game.

It was not an easy task. But staying inside the Bigg Boss house without mobile phones for three months is not easy either. The housemates were supposed to have become accustomed to the feeling of being trapped. And if this task was not fixed (many people have claimed otherwise), rather a true test, then Shilpa, Akash and Puneesh came out with flying colours. No one could count 42 minutes to the "t", but they were close. According to Bigg Boss, the remotest were Priyank — early by almost 10 minutes and Luv — late by 10 minutes.

Twitter can’t believe Puneesh and Akash are semi-finalists

Bigg Boss fans find it hard to believe that Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani made it to the semi-finals while Arshi Khan and Hiten Tejwani were eliminated and that either Luv Tyagi or Priyank Sharma would have to bid adieu, this close to the semi-finals. While Shilpa and Puneesh were seen having a hard time concentrating and not losing count of time, despite the attempts outside the dome, Akash, the rapper, did not keep count. He said he would just guess the time, as counting every minute won’t be possible for him. Shilpa, however, was counting for him.

Twitterati is raising questions over why the timings of the other housemates were not revealed, why captain Hina was not asked to keep a check on the timings and why Bigg Boss chose only the worst two, instead of three.

Shilpa helps Puneesh, Akash; Vikas helps none

After a lot of changes in housemate chemistry, the divide is clear. Shilpa, Puneesh and Akash are now in one team while Team-Vikas has Vikas and Priyank. Hina is playing alone at times when Luv does not get encouragement from either of the other two teams. While Shilpa was seen counting for Puneesh and Akash, Hina tried to keep a count for all. But Vikas did not help anyone, not even Priyank.
