Bigg Boss 11 blog: Will Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde team up to oust Vikas Gupta from captaincy race?

No matter how much the contestants of the Bigg Boss house crib about missing their families, friends and the outside world, no one is actually ready to give up. If it’s partly for the prize money for Rs 50 lakh, it is also because of the 24x7 public scrutinies which the contestants, by now, seem to have started enjoying.

On Wednesday (December 19), Bigg Boss gave them a task, which would have a bearing on the captaincy for the week. The energy with which the contestants played, it was certain that no one wanted to come across as a weak player in front of their fans.

The lawn area of the Bigg Boss house turned into a poultry farm with a toy hen laying golden eggs. Yes, that happened. 

Each egg would have one name written on it denoting said contestant's chance for captaincy. The housemate would have to save the egg while others can would try to snatch it and drop it into the swimming pool, which would automatically move the contestant out of the captaincy race. At least four eggs would have to be dropped in the pool for the successful completion of the task, Bigg Boss said.

Touching the eggs were also not allowed. Shilpa, who is also a part of this task, was the host.

Arshi, Puneesh out of captaincy race

Soon after the rules of the games were announced, the housemates started lobbying for saving their eggs.

“Mastermind” Vikas said he would try to save the golden eggs belonging to Arshi, Priyank and Luv, apart from his own. Luv, Priyank gave their words to Hina, while Arshi wanted Luv and Priyank to drop Hina’s golden egg into the pool. Amid all this chaos, the game started and the first golden egg with Puneesh’s name came out.

Before anyone could understand what was going on, Akash came out of nowhere and dropped it into the swimming pool. Next was Hina’s.

Luv and Priyank went to save her egg. But Vikas got into a fight. But her golden egg was saved. When the one with Arshi’s name came out, Puneesh and Vikas protected it. Priyank and Luv, too, were there. But all of a sudden Priyank took it and dropped it into the swimming pool. Later, Puneesh told Shilpa that he too did not want Arshi to be the captain. He just “played a game” pretending that he was protecting her captaincy.

Will Shilpa, Hina team up against Vikas?

Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde have never been friends on the show. But the "Poultry Farm" task brought them together in their common goal to not let Vikas be the captain.

Shilpa took Hina in confidence and said that she would snatch Vikas’s golden egg. Hina agreed to that as Vikas becoming a captain would spell doom for both of them. With that, Hina, Akash, Shilpa, Vikas, Priyank and Luv still remain in the race for captaincy. A preview of today’s episode reveals that the fight to save the golden eggs will borderline on accusation of physical assault.

Everybody is clueless about Luv, Priyank

On Tuesday, Hina and Luv, who were not seen talking to each other since Saturday, started sorting the issues out. While Luv said only an apology from Hina could only relent him, Hina said she won’t apologise for speaking her heart out.

“I said there is nothing wrong if Luv has a soft corner for me. What’s wrong in that? I have a soft corner for you. You are my friend,” Hina said confronting Luv. Later, both of them broke down and apologised. Through Vikas’s mediation, Luv and Priyank too decided to bury the hatchet. Everybody else, however, remain confused about Luv and Priyank.

Priyank is seen having a tough time trying to find balance between Vikas and Hina and these two, it seems, will never agree to come under the same umbrella.
