10 events from Britney Spears's life we hope make it to her memoir
In a move to reclaim her past and future, Britney Spears is all set to release a memoir of her own. The pop icon has sealed a deal for a book worth US $15 million. An insider has told Page Six that the deal is the biggest in history, even bigger than the Obama book deal. The book will be released by publisher Simon & Schuster.

The Criminal singer has been wanting to publish a memoir after the scathing release of her sister, Jamie Lynn's biography in January 2022, titled 'Things I Should Have Said'. The release of her sister's biography has left Britney and Jamie in a very public dispute.
The confirmation of Britney's own memoir is turning a lot of heads as fans are desperate to know more about the singer's life, particularly about her last 13 years. But if we were to streamline, these are the 10 things that the world is desperate to know more about (and we hope make it to her book):
1. HER LOVE STORY AND ENGAGEMENT TO SAM ASGHARI
We all love a good love story, and Britney and Sam's story is a Disney dream. The pair first met in October 2016, survived through the legal battle to end Britney's conservatorship, and got engaged in September 2021. Safe to say, we're all very excited to know how the proposal went and her thoughts.
2. HER INFAMOUS BREAKDOWN
2007 was a tough year for Britney's mental health. After her infamous breakdown in 2007 when she shaved her head and attacked a paparazzo's car with an umbrella, she was placed under conservatorship in 2008. The conservatorship was controlled by her father Jamie Spears and others, and ended in November 2021. Fans are looking forward to knowing what led to her 'meltdown'.

3. WHAT SHE FELT TOWARDS THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON HER AND JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S RELATIONSHIP
Once upon a time, Justin and Britney were the 'it' couple of Hollywood and of the music world. The ex-NSYNC singer and Britney broke up in 2002, and the hate Britney received for allegedly cheating on Justin was brutal.
Some suspect that Justin manipulated the narrative and victimised himself, but only Britney's memoir will tell what the true story behind their roller-coaster relationship was.
4. THE BIRTH OF HER SONS
Fans are looking forward to reading about the birth and Britney's relationship with both her sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline. The boys featured as children in The New York Times' 2021 documentary, Framing Britney Spears, but otherwise have completely stayed out of the limelight.
Not much is known about the teenagers and in an Instagram post, Britney explained, "I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it."

5. THE COMPLETE REALITY BEHIND HER CONSERVATORSHIP AND THE ROLE HER PARENTS PLAYED

The 2-minute revelation left the world shocked and the announcement of Britney's memoir has fans waiting with bated breath to know the reality of her conservatorship.
6. THE RELEASE OF HER FIRST MUSIC VIDEO
Britney released her first song and music video, Baby One More Time in 1998, and it was one of a kind. Her style of singing and her music video set Britney on the path of success. It would be interesting to read in detail in her memoir about what inspired her to write this song and dance as a school girl in her debut video.
7. BRITNEY'S 1999 ROLLING STONE COVER

In 1999, Britney landed her first big magazine cover with Rolling Stone. On the cover, the world got to see Britney in polka-dot boy shorts and a bra while holding a Telletubby stuffed animal. The issue skyrocketed Britney's fame and garnered her tons of attention, as it was especially scandalous for the time.
8. HER 2001 VMA'S PERFORMANCE

Britney pretty much left her fans slithering as she performed with a giant python on her shoulders at the 2001 Video Music Awards. The performance has since been regarded as iconic and remembered as one of Britney's best moments. Never been done before or since, the world is exceptionally excited to know what was Britney's inspiration and motive behind this move.
9. BRITNEY AND MADONNA'S 2003 KISS

Also at the VMAs, Britney performed 'Like A Virgin' with Madonna and the two ended up kissing on stage. Although it was a quick smooch, it drove people crazy enough to forget that Christina Aguilera was also performing with them and also kissed Madonna. It would be entertaining to read about what the two singers thought in the moment and decided to kiss.
10. HER LAS VEGAS WEDDING TO JASON ALEXANDER
After her public and heartwrenching breakup with Justin, Britney had a string of romances that ended when she married her childhood friend, Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in January 2004. She then annulled the wedding, only 55 hours later and called it a silly thing. Guess fans would be eager to know about what happened in Vegas...because it sure doesn't need to stay in Vegas.
