Britney Spears may have just confirmed that she is pregnant with her third child with fiancé Sam Asghari! (most probably)
THE VIRAL INSTAGRAM POST: The pop star took to Instagram to write a somewhat long and informative caption. Britney posted a picture of a cup of tea and flowers and wrote, "I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back... I thought "Geez ... what happened to my stomach ???" My husband said "No you’re food pregnant silly!!!" So I got a pregnancy test ... and uhhhhh well ... I am having a baby... 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant. It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there ... I might just lose it (sic)."

Given the media attention Britney received the last time she was pregnant with her two boys; Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline, Britney specified in the caption that she will not be going out in 'public' anymore so that paparazzi cannot take any 'money' pictures of her.
The Criminal singer wrote, "I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have (sic)."
In the same post, Britney also spoke about how she suffered from perinatal depression during her earlier pregnancies. She explained that when she was pregnant the earlier two times, women did not talk about perinatal depression as such, but now she's very happy that women are able to 'talk about it every day'.
Britney wrote, "It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression ... I have to say it is absolutely horrible... women didn’t talk about it back then ... some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her ... but now women talk about it everyday ... thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret... This time I will be doing yoga every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love!!! (sic)"
The news comes after the end of Britney's controversial conservatorship in November 2021, and the confirmation of her memoir in February 2022.
BRITNEY AND SAM: While not much is known about Britney and Sam's relationship, the pair met in October 2016 during Britney's Slumber Party music video. Britney and Sam went Instagram official when she posted a picture of them in January 2017.
Sam has been supportive of the Free Britney movement against her conservatorhip for quite some time. Safe to say, with the confirmation of Britney's upcoming memoir and her calling Sam her 'husband' in her pregnancy announcement, fans are super excited to know all the details about their relationship.
WHAT IS PERINATAL DEPRESSION: Perinatal depression is the collective word for prenatal depression and postpartum depression. While prenatal depression occurs before the baby’s birth, postpartum depression occurs after the baby's birth.
HOW THE WORLD IS REACTING: While Britney's longtime friend, Paris Hilton wrote on the post, "Congratulations sis!!I’m so excited for you!!Love you!!! (sic)", fans are still confused whether Britney is actually pregnant or not.
One fan wrote, "I literally can't tell if she's saying she's pregnant or not" while another wrote, "I'm confused. Is this a riddle? Is she pregnant? Did she just eat bread? I don't get it."
Fans also posted comments asking Britney if her Instagram post is a pregnancy announcement or not. One fan asked, "Britney, is this a pregnancy announcement or not? Love I'm confused"; while another asked, "Wait so you are pregnant? Or it's a food baby? I'm confused."
