Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Is Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character inspired by Chand Nawab?

When news about Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan began to do the rounds of the media, it was reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui would be playing the character of a Pakistani journalist in the film. The trailer of this Kabir Khan film has just been released (on June 18), and we have found out certain similarities between Nawazuddin's character in the film and a real life Pakistani journalist.

Not much about Nawazuddin's character has been revealed yet, but the actor's few-second long clip in the trailer is reminiscent of a certain Chand Nawab. For the uninitiated, Chand Nawab is a Pakistani journalist based in Karachi, who was employed with Indus News when he shot to fame. An unedited P2C clip of Chand Nawab had been uploaded on the internet by his colleagues, to play a prank on the reporter, and it had gone viral back in 2008. Here's the clip:
