Why did Elon Musk change his name to Elona Musk on Twitter?
For as long as I can remember stalking the world’s richest man on Twitter, Elon Musk has had the same name and the same profile picture (not of his face). But something seems to have cracked; the Tesla and SpaceX CEO changed his name and his profile pic. In fact, his name is now ‘Elona’, a feminine version of his name.
WHY DID ELON MUSK CHANGE HIS NAME?
Does it have to do with the LGBTQIA+ issue? Is he finally NOT transphobic?
The answer is completely different; perhaps something that will have you rolling your eyes till they get stuck at the back of your head or clapping in appreciation of the comeback.
Remember the Twitter-addict CEO challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin to a boxing match with Ukraine at stake? Yes, exactly, it has everything to do with Putin and the challenge.
One of Putin’s cronies, the Chechnya warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, shot back a sexist retort to Elon Musk for challenging his master to a fight. Kadyrov in a Facebook post referred to Elon Musk as ‘Elona’, an effeminate man or a man who is like a girl in an insult. He suggested that Musk first train at one of its training centers to be able to take on someone like Vladimir Putin.

Kadyrov said that Putin beating Musk to a pulp will only tarnish the Russian President’s reputation for going up against a weaker opponent.
In response to the warlord’s sexist remarks, Elon Musk changed his name to ‘Elona’, embracing the ‘insult’ of being too feminine. Musk thanked the warlord for his advice but said that he is even down to fight with only his left hand if Putin were too afraid to face him.
