You can follow up the morning cup with a few cups later in the day. There really isn’t a bad time for good tea.

The numbers are down, but the virus is still around and therefore the need to keep the immunity boosted remains. If you are done sipping too much kadha, we suggest switch to masala chai just for a change your palate me craving for. Also, it offers the perfect start to an organic morning.You can, of course, follow up the morning cup with a few cups later in the day. There really isn’t a bad time for good tea.

What you need first is masala. You can buy the packet from the market but nothing beats the home-made masala.

What you need to make chai masala

Dried ginger (50 gm)

Nutmeg (5 gm)

Cinnamon (15 gm)

Peppercorn (10 gm)

Clove (15 gm)

Green cardamom (15 gm)

How to make it

Dry roast the ingredients in a small pan for 1 minute

Then put the roasted stuff in a blender

Your masala is ready and will be good for consumption up to six months if kept in an airtight container

How to make masala chai now

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan

Add a table spoon of masala when the water starts to boil

Add 2 table spoons tea leaves

Boil for a minute

Add a cup of milk

Bring to boil

Once the milk starts boiling, turn the flame to simmer

Add sugar (optional)

Your tea is ready. Sieve it and have it.
