As an adult, you realise essay-writing was the most hilarious part of an English paper. Kids often write the funniest thing possible, or sometimes even reveal the truth.
What is the weirdest thing that you wrote in your school essay?
I’ll go first.
In an essay on stomach ache, I wrote, “One day, my mother gave me extra pocket money to enjoy food at the school canteen, and I had stomach ache after eating that. I went back home and told my mother to give only homemade food.”
That’s it. That was my 500-word essay.
Trust me, I totally made this up because having food at the canteen was the coolest thing ever back then.
Well, I made up a story in my essay but this kid going viral on social media described the whole situation pretty precisely.
So, the question reads, “Write a paragraph on The Food I Don’t Like.”
And the kid is brutally honest in his answer.
The child expressed their concerns over puttu, which is a dish eaten in South India, made with boiled rice and coconut.
Puttu is a South Indian dish
The complaints are too real: It mentioned that the dish is easy to prepare, which is why “my mother makes that every morning”.
The major complaint of the kid is that puttu turns into a rock a few minutes after serving it.
The kid later beautifully explained the whole story which can be summaried in a flow chart-

The best part of the paragraph is the moral of the story explained by the kid: “Puttu Breaks Relationships.”
According to the kid, the whole fight between the child and the mother over food in the end breaks their relationship. And puttu is the culprit here.
This is how Twitter reacted:
Many loved the way the kid explained the whole situation. Some found it relating, while others expressed their love for puttu.
My heart to goes to that kid❣️

Can't help coming back to this. It is the sweetest thing I've read on Twitter today. The last line is a killer! Makes me want to make pancakes with maple syrup for this kid. ?

Puttu is the tastiest when hot, poor mom has been been making it incessantly to feed her son, wait until the son complains of cold Appam's.

Well, thanks to the teacher for sharing this on social media. We really want the essay to reach the kid’s mother so that she prepares something else next morning.
In the meantime, tell us about the dish you don’t like but in this kid’s style.
