Stop trying to shame Sunny Leone: Journalist trolled on Twitter
Yes, Sunny Leone was a "porn star". A good one at that, if I may say so. And yes, her's is the name India "Google'd" the most in 2015, and she, most definitely, has got an audience.
In an interview with Subhash K Jha, and this was before her debut in Bollywood, Sunny Leone had said, "I believe I lead my life just the way I want to. I am free to do what I want without any restrictions," when asked what is it like to be a porn star. In another interview, she had said, it's ignorance that makes people equate adult stars with prostitutes.
She has maintained her stand that she has no regrets in life, or about who she is, but people are hell-bent on poking her with the same question, over and over again, to satisfy their sadistic selves, thinking they're hurting Leone. But they've got it wrong. So, very wrong.
On January 15, 2016, Sunny Leone appeared on CNN-IBN's Hot Seat, being interviewed by senior journalist Bhupendra Chaubey. The interview has, since been talked about a lot, even trending on Twitter, for all the wrong reasons. Chaubey, to everyone's surprise, joined the brigade of those people I hinted above, the ones who repeatedly like to dig up dirt from someone's past, and try to make them feel bad about it. Just see how he failed so miserably.
He begins by asking, "Tell me one thing that you regret, or where do you think Sunny Leone/Karanjeet went wrong," and then asks, "what kind of mistakes have you made personally or professionally?" only to be smashed by Sunny's utmost grace and humility.
We know what you wanted to make her speak about, sir! And guess what? She knew, too.
When I saw him "bullying" her saying, "You'd want to work with Aamir, but he wouldn't want to work with you," I cringed with disgust.
Is this journalism? How could he stoop so low, that he dares to clarify he'd initially meant to ask whether she'd still want to be a porn star if she got another chance to start from scratch, and Sunny, maintaining what she's always said, says, "100 per cent".
Shame on you, sir! And kudos to you, Sunny Leone. I'm now more in love with you.

This interview was outright disgusting, to say the least. And Sunny Leone, way to go girl! Kudos to your courage and dignity. I hope Bollywood A-listers come forward to work with you and prove such misogynists wrong.
