Tinder Swindler Simon sued for millions of dollars by real Leviev diamond family. Finally.

The Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev is now slowly facing repercussion of swindling millions of dollars off his Tinder dates. Life has been going kinda downhill for Simon Leviev since the documentary The Tinder Swindler dropped on Netflix, and things seem to have really hit the ceiling now. The real Leviev family has sued Simon Leviev... for, well, you know, calling himself a Leviev.

The Netflix’s crime documentary The Tinder Swindler tells the story of three victims who fell prey to Simon Leviev and lost millions of dollars. The documentary also shows how this guy is still free and continues to live a luxurious life.

A LITTLE CONTEXT: Born as Shimon Hayut, Simon Leviev pulled off a lavish fraud of millions of dollars from his Tinder dates. While dating these women, he followed a pattern of creating a fake emergency, and then ask his dates for money to help him. His dates arranged the money via loans and from their personal savings. Meanwhile, Simon was using all of this money to enjoy his next luxurious date with his next target.

Simon presented himself as the son of the real billionaire diamond family from Israel, the Levievs, and called himself the “Prince of Diamonds”.

BUT... KARMA CAUGHT UP WITH SIMON

A month after the release of the Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler, the real Leviev family has now sued Simon Leviev. And that too for millions of dollars.

Seems like it is now the time for him to pay back all the money he swindled off his Tinder dates while using the name Leviev.

Israeli diamond tycoon Lev Leviev has filed a suit against Simon for misusing their last name to enrich him.

Chagit Leviev, the daughter of Lev Leviev, the king of diamonds and an heiress to the family's fortune, told People, "Simon is a fraud who stole our family's identity and has tried to exploit our good name to con victims out of millions of dollars.”

“He has no relation to the Leviev family and has no affiliation with our company LLD Diamonds. I am relieved that his real identity and actions have been globally exposed, and hopefully this will bring an end to his unscrupulous actions. The lawsuit we filed today is just the first step out of many we will be taking to have him face justice and get the sentence he deserves.”

WHAT ELSE HAS HAPPENED AFTER THE REALEASE?

The Netflix documentary became a hit after the release. Following this, Simon was banned from various dating apps including Tinder, Hinge and more.

He disappeared from Instagram for a while after the release, but then he was back on the social media app with a verified private account. Now, his Instagram profile has again been deleted. However, there are many fake profiles by his name.

In a recent interview, Simon also introduced his current girlfriend, who has (so far) not given him a single penny.
