Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif Wedding: 10 latest updates from Sawai Madhopur

Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are all set to get married tomorrow at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. As per reports, the mehendi and sangeet are taking place today, followed by the wedding tomorrow.

After the FIR yesterday against Vicky and Katrina, here are the latest updates from the grand wedding in Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, where the two are tying the knot:

1. KALA CHASHMAH

As per sources, Vicky and Katrina will perform to Kala Chashma and Nachde Ne Saare from the film Baar Baar Dekho tonight at their sangeet. Katrina is also expected to be performing on her famous song Teri Ore from Singh Is Kinng.

2. TWO HALDI CEREMONIES

An insider source also informed that there were two haldi ceremonies, one for the bride and the other, on the wedding day, for the groom. The first haldi ceremony was at noon today.

3. MEHENDI ARTIST AT THE WEDDING VENUE

Henna artist Veena Nagda is known for taking care of the mehendi on almost every Bollywood actress's big day. Veena Nagda shared a story on her Instagram page this morning with the hashtag #bigfatindianwedding. As per reports, the picture was clicked a few minutes before she reached Vicky-Katrina’s wedding venue.

4. WIKIPEDIA DECLARES VICKY KAUSHAL ‘MARRIED’

Wikipedia has already declared Vicky Kaushal married, even before he himself has. You can read Katrina’s name in the spouse section. On Katrina Kaif's Wikipedia page, however, there is no mention of her relationship status.

5. WEDDING VIDEO ON OTT PLATFORM?

Some reports also claimed that an OTT platform has offered Rs 80 crore to Vicky and Katrina to stream their wedding video exclusively.

6. APPROXIMATELY 20 KG OF ORGANIC MEHENDI

Nitesh Aggarwal, owner of a Sojat-based mehendi processing and manufacturing firm told news agency PTI that they have supplied organic mehendi as a gift for the wedding functions. Around 20 kg of organic mehendi powder and 400 mehendi cones have been delivered to the venue.

8. A NOTE FOR GUESTS

Guests at the Vicky-Katrina wedding have received a note from Shaadi Squad, which states the no-phone policy. The note asks the guests to “sit back and relax” and leave their mobile phones in their respective rooms.

9. HONEYMOON IN MALDIVES

Some reports inform that Vicky and Katrina will fly to Maldives for their honeymoon. Whereas some other reports claim that the two will get back to work right after the wedding festivities are over.

10. WILL KATRINA DITCH RED ON HER WEDDING DAY?

Just like everyone, we are also waiting for a glimpse of Katrina’s wedding dress. Some (unconfirmed) sources say that she will be wearing pastel green on her big day. But we can only make guesses before the official pictures are in.
